Hi Community!

I want to share with you mi first Open Exchange application.

It's a tool to made our developments easier. It's a micro service in a IRIS docker that help us in our new features giving us a way to add short links in our SMS, Email campaigns and for links of the different stores for our apps.

It's very easy to use it.

Simply clone this repo:

https://github.com/daniel-aguilar-garcia/cos-url-shortener.git

Open the folder in VSCode and start the docker.

After that you can create short link version of any link via api request. For example with Postman:

The last days I've work with the great new feature: LOAD DATA With this post I would like to share my first experiences with you. The following points do not contain any order or other evaluation. These are only things that I noticed when using the LOAD DATA command. It should also be noted that these points are based on the IRIS Version 2021.2.0.617 which is a preview release. So it may be that my observations do not apply to newer IRIS versions. But maybe they are helpful for others.

Brainstorming the project we would build to showcase in the current female health themed InterSystems FHIR Contest, our girl band decided that we need to do something practical for the ordinary user and to solve some burning issues of the modern life. This discussion led to the idea of creating a project that will help women not to forget their health in daily grind - FemTech Reminder.

Project presentation video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LaHJYejc-5I

image

The FemTech Reminder project contains four main components:

  • Reminder server is based on InterSystems IRIS for Health;
  • GUI part is made with Angular;
  • Bot in Telegram;
  • FHIR server hosted in InterSystems Cloud.

The user communicates with our system via a chatbot. It allows the user to get notifications directly into the messenger without installing additional software. Using a bot, the user can register in Reminder service and associate their profile with a patient record on the FHIR server, allowing us to receive notifications based on patient information in the future. The Reminder server sends notifications once a day, analyzing user data.

image

Three types of notifications are implemented at the time of publication of this article.

Age Notifications:

Notifications with age-specific recommendations are based on Worldwide Health Organization (WHO) recommendations regarding medical checkup. This type of notification is characterized by age range and frequency of notifications. The server decides sending notifications to the user by analyzing these criteria.

You can view all recommendations using the GUI.

image

The web interface also allows you to add recommendations.

image

Pregnancy notification:

Pregnancy recommendations based on the recommendations of the WHO prenatal care model. While sending a notification, the system checks the patient’s week of pregnancy, it is calculated based on FHIR server's pregnancy observation record.

image

Appointment notifications:

Appointment notifications will be sent the day after the doctor’s visit. The patient will get a recommendation from the FHIR server, which was filed by their doctor during the visit.

Thanks:

Our team would like to thank InterSystems and Banksia Global for an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology on important present-day female issues. We hope that our bot-reminder open-source project will help our colleagues to innovate and solve complex healthcare issues to help women to feel good and stay healthy.

Hi Community,
In this article I will demonstrate the functionality of my app iris-energy-isodata .
Application is accessing energy data (production, demand and supply)  from the major Independent System Operators (ISOs) in the United States to ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns (SDG's 12)

Application is using python library isodata , Production EXtension PEX  along with Embedded Python.  Special Thanks to @Guillaume Rongier for the template  template for guidance

Below is the list of Independent System Operators(ISOs)

I cloned iris-interoperability-template for my app interoperability-test. I wanted to develop an app to test interfaces in Interoperability productions.

I have never run a container in Docker Desktop. I always run containers in AWS. My first problem was that I got an error when I tried to build the image using docker-compose. The error was about BuildKit. I worked around the error by building the image with a docker build command relying on DOCKER_BUILDKIT environment variable:

DOCKER_BUILDKIT=1 docker build --progress=plain --no-cache --tag testint .

Hi Community,

This post is a introduction of my open exchange iris-fhir-client application.

 iris-fhir-client can connect to any open FHIR Server by using embedded python with the help of fhirpy Library.
Get Resource information by terminal and by using CSP web application.

I think each of us has on the computer directories with photo files of relatives and friends, music albums of favorite bands and singers, as well as e-book libraries. I also have them, and I came up with the idea to implement a convenient interface for these files. You can read more about the project in the article. And I proposed this project for the contest, maybe it will be useful to you.

IRIS Interoperability formerly known as Ensemble comes with many built in adapters. It does not have a service or adapter to receive mail. I have written email service to receive mail messages via SMTP which can be passed to email operation.

Now I want to load-test a production which sends messages to an external mail server using email operation. The mail server team does not want me to send them thousands of messages.
